About the Author
ABOUT THE AUTHOR | Ashley Matthews loves stories—both reading and writing them. From a young age, her mom instilled a passion for books that never went away. Ever since winning a writing contest in second grade, her dream was to be a children's book author. She believes words have the power to change the world, and they should always be used for good. In her spare time, she enjoys cuddling with her cat Olive and spending time with family and friends.
About the Illustrator
ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR | Cee Biscoe received her MA in children's book illustration in 2008 and since then has illustrated several picture books and board books. She finds inspiration in nature and has a fondness for creepy crawlies, which means they often turn up in her pictures! She paints in watercolor and acrylics and loves getting messy in her studio (a converted shed in the garden), where she watches the birds from her window.
