ABOUT THE AUTHOR | Laura Gates Galvin has worked in children’s book publishing as an editor and author for over 30 years. Her love of writing began at an early age when she asked for a typewriter for her 7th birthday, and she has now written and published over 100 published books. Her work includes award-winning titles for the Smithsonian Institution, African Wildlife Foundation, Sesame Workshop, Disney and WGBH.
ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR |Kay Widdowson is a freelance illustrator based in Chorlton, Manchester. She has made a living from her art for the past 37 years. Originally from Shirebrook, a small mining village in Derbyshire, she studied at Chesterfield College of Art and Design where she found her love of illustration and design.
